The structure on all floors was reinforced and aligned onto a common structural grid. The rear of the building was cleaned up and opened up to frame an existing old Neem tree in the Backyard. A stairwell connected all the floors with a staircase in MS and Flamed granite. Each floor is fashioned with in a different mood to reflect the personality of each sub brand. The Ground Floor houses the Ravi Bajaj formal menswear line. We chose to go with dark wood saddle-stitched leather, walnut-stained flooring and frosted glass changing rooms. The modular shelves can be removed or adjusted to accommodate either hanging or folded garments.
The First Floor displays the younger Sportswear range.
A single aluminium ribbon weaves and slices through vertical sheets of glass creating shelves along one entire section. The other side consists of an undulating steel frame rail for a hanging display. The lighting is a combination of focused and indirect lighting. The Second Floor showcases Ravi Bajaj Gentlemen consists of Suits and high end leather accessories. Stained rosewood floors with flamed granite borders, Leather frames around body forms, a 35' tapered teak console on cast aluminum legs, a transluscent inlit storage cube, and a single 35' inlit niche display for all the suits combine to create a rich and warm ambiance in tune with the merchandise.
